The Product
Find out what your visitors are really interested in and how you can serve them even more
with our super easy tool VTNT (Visitors track'n time)
What can VTNT do for you?
VTNT allows you to ...
- track the progress of guests' observations, logging them on a tablet (with a floor plan or site plan), and
- automatically evaluates and
- visualizes the data.
When a guest stops, or interacts with exhibition elements, this behavior and the length of stay is recorded by simply clicking on stations marked in the floor plan or site plan.
As a result, you will learn:
- Where do visitors stop? (Attraction, i.e. which stations/objects, absolute and percentage)
- How long do they stop? (Holding power, i.e. dwell time per station/object, median and mean value in seconds)
- How long are they in the exhibition/at an enclosure in total? (total length of stay)
- Visualization (blind corners, omitted objects, etc.)
- Optional input of specific behavior possible (interaction, photo, pause, etc.)
- Entry of sociodemographic data and qualitative comments possible
- The automated development of first benchmarks is also possible.
All results are automatically processed immediately after entry and can be accessed graphically on an internal page.
After you have reached the desired number of visitor observations, you can immediately download individual graphs or the entire report. If you need the raw data for further calculations, you can retrieve them as well.
Here you find a VTNT - video-tutorial with founder Dr. Lars Wohlers, followed by a few sentences about "What is needed" from your side.

What is needed?
You only need:
- 1 internet-enabled tablet, and
- 1 Employee collecting the data (no special qualifications required, e.g. interns/volunteers can also use the product independently within a few minutes of instruction)
Our observation instrument is innovative and for use globally. This is particularly important because in recent years there has been increasing demand for observations and scientific, measurable data.
Existing digital ways of observing behavior, including those from the private sector, are of course also possible, but much more complex, expensive and they do not offer the information we have designed (e.g. eye-tracking, RFID, Bluetooth, UWB) - [1]

Another special feature of VTNT is the ability to place your own observations of exhibitions in the context of other observations. Background information on this "Thorough-use-index" from Beverly Serrell can be found here (just click on the image):
